Lorenza, a native Italian, was born in Milan in 1980. She speaks English, French and German
and teaches Italian as a foreign language.
When she was 10 years old, she moved to Ascona, to the Italian part of Switzerland where she
received her schooling. Afterwards she studied Media Studies at the University of Bologna, where she started to
collaborate with cultural and linguistic exchange organisations.
After graduation, she moved back to Milan to work in events and communication agencies.
Since 2009, she has been living in Locarno, where she runs Italian courses for privates and institutions. Since 2015 she has been working as a Language and Integration Teacher and as a Learning Support Italian Teacher at the Secondary School Locarno 2, as well as a Supply Italian and English Teacher in secondary and vocational schools in Locarno area. In 2015 she obtained the certification DILS-PG in ‘Didactics of Italian as a Second Language’ from University of Perugia and TKT, ‘Teaching knowledge test’ from University of Cambridge.
She has taught Italian to students from over 35 countries worldwide.
